Le Cargo Box 3XL motorhome box allows you to transport 2 bikes safely and comfortably.
It offers many advantages over a bike carrier for motorhomes classic. Properly stowed and secured in the boot, your standard or electrically-assisted bicycles are perfectly protected from dust, bad weather and malicious acts. Once locked, the luggage compartment protects its contents.
Design of the Cargo Box 3XL motorhome box
Mecatek, formerly SAWIKO France, has taken particular care with the design of the motorhome box Cargo Box 3XL. Its sleek, fluid lines blend harmoniously with all types of motorhome. The box is made from weatherproof and UV-resistant white ABS plastic. The Cargo Box 3XL is designed to last.
The Cargo Box 3XL is fitted with 2 bike rails equipped with wheel chocks with a lashing system. Each wedge slides independently along the rail to adapt perfectly to the wheelbase of the bike. 2 support bars stabilise the bikes during transport.
Loading and unloading bicycles is very easy, thanks to the full-width opening of the boot and the hydraulic jacks on both sides.
Securing the Cargo Box 3XL
There are 2 ways of securing the box:
- Mounting on a load carrier adapted pre-existing
- Installation of a load carrier adapted on the motorhome chassis and fitting the box
